Funeral webcasting
November 20, 2009
Nelson Bros customises each funeral to meet the family' s exacting requirements. We are at the forefront of quality service in everything we do. We balance innovation with our strong history of tradition. Our successful Online Memorials are an example of this.
For funerals held at our funeral homes, families have the option of webcasting the funeral service. A funeral webcast is where the funeral service is broadcast across the internet. It can be viewed anywhere in the world that has internet access.
The technology of webcasting is not perfect. The quality depends upon the internet connection at each end and the number of people viewing the webcast at any given time. It may also be affected by the telephone exchange where your broadband connection is connected.
The quality also depends upon the recording video and audio equipment used at the funeral home. Nelson Bros has professional audio visual equipment in all our funeral home chapels. This includes our large LCD screens where families watch a video tribute during the service.
Separate to funeral webcasting, we also provide a keepsake DVD recording to all families who have funerals at our funeral homes. This higher quality recording can be viewed at any time and copies can be made. Sometimes the DVD is watched by groups of friends who are unable to make the funeral service, such as friends from a nursing home.
We are working closely with our technology partners to improve the standard of funeral webcasting and to provide innovation and quality service to our client families.
We are available to help you now. Please call us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for immediate attention from someone you trust. We’re there when you need us.
