Floral Tributes
In all aspects of life, flowers are used to convey love, facilitate expression, provide meaning, and communicate emotions that words fail to capture. Selecting specific flowers that have importance and meaning to you helps create a more meaningful funeral.
Our partner florist Flowers Vasette will happily work with you to design a unique special arrangement.
The choice of flower can hold specific significance, such as Australian natives to remember the times caravanning and camping or exotic orchids to reflect a memorable holiday. Don’t feel limited to flowers – arrangements of other items including food or toys may be more special to you.
What is a Casket Sheaf?
A floral tribute many families select is a coffin or casket sheaf. This is placed on top of the coffin or casket during the service and is very prominent at the funeral.

Seasonality
Flower availability and costs vary over the year. There are some times of year when specific flower requests can be difficult to meet.
To assist with your selection, we provide a list of typical flower availability by month.
Please be aware that the following particular times of year may affect availability and cost:
January
Many of the flower growers take holidays at this time and flower availability is therefore limited. First option at this time of year should be a "seasonal mix" (e.g. bright or pastel) as this will always be available.
Valentine's Day (February 14th)
Rose availability is extremely limited 4 weeks prior to Valentine's Day. Also during this time, the flower growers increase prices for roses.
Mother's Day (2nd Sunday in May)
Flower availability is not affected throughout this period. However, growers do increase prices for all flowers and foliages.
Winter Months
During this time, the variety of flowers is significantly limited due to weather conditions and other variables. As a result, flowers become more expensive
